over all view of the garden
This was taken by a wonderful visitor to the garden named Alice and she took this from on top of the summer pavilon steps, but this shows the deck as well and part of the garden. I thought it was a great perspective ! It was taken June 23d, of 2013
Not much going on at this time of the year September 20th, 2013 this was taken by my brother Tim Hively and he was on top of the summer pavilion admiring the view but its still beautiful !
This was also taken by Tim Hively on Sept. 20th, 2013 he is in front of the fall building looking towards the pond that is in the center. On the left you can see the Sedum, on the right you can see some more Sedum and the Japanese blood grass that really stands out.
This was taken by: Tim Hively on September 20th, 2013 of the greenhouse and on each side are different lettuce's and some large Basil plants closer to the greenhouse. In the spring this is where the Crocuses are and then the foliage dies off we plant other things.
This is another view of the garden as you enter it. This is a photo by Jon Cutrell and I am not sure of the date but as you can see its probably in October possibly but for sure its fall !!
This was taken from on top of the Summer Pavilion looking east towards the Spring Equinox Greenhouse and it was taken by: Jon Cutrell on September 21st, 2009
I took this August 6,2013 from on top of the summer pavilion looking out towards late summer and fall. You can see at that time their is quite a lot still in bloom.
This was taken by a wonderful visitor to the garden named Alice she was on top of the summer pavilion and using a special lens to get this fabulous photo of the garden. Looks like it was taken in June sometime not sure of the exact date. But it sure is a great view of it !
This is an overall view or what I could fit in actually of June non-native. The pond in the middle hosts various fish but mostly goldfish and seems as their are more and more each year which is a good thing. I seldom go on top of the summer pavilion but once in a while I do and I am amazed at the view from up there so please when visiting check that out. Taken on June 22, 2015
As you can see this was taken long ago on June 30th of 2007 before their was a walkway to the garden from the parking lot. I think this photo was taken by Beth Defries at that time.
This is another photo taken by Beth Defries the benefactor of the garden. It shows it before the bricks were laid in the walkway. It also has changed a lot since this photo flower wise. And the barn in the background left has since been torn down due to it was dilapidated and too dangerous to keep. You can see the date it was taken June 30th of 2007.
